Quality of teaching and teachers are disappointing for the fees paid to this school, poor administration, too many liars around, blaming one another when queried , can make you go crazy with no resolution, no sense of responsibility, i withdrew my kid from this school when i felt it was hopeless to carry on ..........!

Beaconhouse definitely is not a good school. You can find bullies, liars, bad discipline, bad behaviour and bad attitude students in the school. Teachers are not up to standard in teaching, misleading and giving false information, discipline teacher doesn’t know how to handle discipline, high turnover. Always give excuses of lack of manpower. Bought textbooks but not using textbooks in the class for whole academic year.

I am a parent of a child here . I removed my son from this school because of MIss Alina . Sorry to say , i really don't like her and hope Beaconhouse will change . Her teaching method is horrible and she is making the school worst . I am really disappointed about her . Why ?

I am a student from Beaconhouse Newlands and i find that it's a horrible school to enroll. Firstly the receptionist is being very disrespectful to parents and students when she is in good mood she will talk to you nicely but when she is not then she will speak to you in a very rude way. Secondly the school's system is horrible as in everything was planned last minute for example, the story telling 2019 the teacher inform us about this competition just a few days earlier and expect us to get prepared in a very short period of time. Most of us failed to do it therefore, on the competition day morning the teacher asked us to immediately write a story and they will choose who is able to participate in the competition on that day afternoon. Thirdly many of the good teachers are starting to leave the school and many students left the school also their new intake is having lesser and lesser students. Besides I agree on Dexter as in he said the teacher over there smoke in class because, one of the classrooms always have the smell of the vape which is disgusting and yes the some teachers play mobile games in class. This are the reasons why Beaconhouse Newlands aren't a good school to enroll in.

Mr Jarlath is a very good principle , however , the JUNIOR PRINCIPLE , Miss Alina Manda , is the worst principle in the school . She is changing the school from bad to WORST . I can guaranty Newlands will close down if Miss Alina is still working here . I hope Mr Jarlath will take control of the whole school . The most suitable teacher for taking over Miss ALINA MANDA's place is Miss Mariam(Miss Ava) . She's a well dedicated and well - mannered teacher . Hope that Miss Alina will leave the school soon

I strongly agree to nono lala about the case about Ms Alina . She doesn't even know how to make the timetable , the ICT lesson will be clashing with other class and we don't even have the opportunity to use the ICT lab . I really don't like the way she make the timetable , before she came , one lesson is 35 minutes , and now , one lesson is 1 hour . That's horrible and tiring . Beaconhouse Newlands should consider to change Miss Alina away . She changed everything from bad to worst . Hope Beaconhouse will made a change . Thank you very much .

Receptionist is rude to most of the parents with over the top sarcasm and talk as if she's on top of everyone else and thinks everyone is dumb. And if you were a student asking the staff to do something they will redirect or tell u where to get it yourself in the back room where students shouldn't be and they'll make a fuss about it. Overall management sucks. As for teachers...well they love to play mobile games and smoke in class.

It was a very warm experience at Beaconhouse Newlands. My sons enjoyed the treatment more than i did. They surely have their way to handle kids. There seemed to be quite a hassle parking however it is immaterial when you see your kids happy.

Due to my opinion , i think that this is a very good school , the teachers are very discipline , friendly and well-mannered , unlike what Kerk&Dexter say , teacher doesn't play mobile games in class and teacher don't smoke/vape in school , the principle is also very caring . BNIS (Beaconhouse Newlands International School) is one of the top school in Selangor .

I have 2 children studying in early years and primary at BNIS. I really like the open door policy that the school has where parents can communicate directly with the principal and class teachers. The early years and primary teachers are dedicated and caring. Ms Alina has always been open to feedback and prompt in her replies - something I really appreciate as a parent. Our new principal, Mr Jarlath, is also open in his communication with parents. The management is constantly looking for ways to improve its services, and I have seen this happen in the past two years we've studied here. Physical room sizes are spacious, with adequate lighting and equipped with airconditioning. At the same time, the ratio of teacher to students is small, allowing the children to receive adequate attention. The school has great facilities and has a holistic approach to education. My children have grown in confidence while studying at BNIS. It is a little gem in this part of KL.
