About

About

Marlborough College Malaysia

Marlborough College Malaysia is the first independent, British boarding and day school to open a campus in Malaysia. The Preparatory School takes pupils from age 3 and the Senior School includes a Sixth Form to age 18. Junior boarding begins from age 9 and senior boarding from age 13.

Pupils entering Marlborough College Malaysia join a community steeped in the tradition of placing compassion, companionship and conversation at the heart of its educational philosophy and a history, spanning over 170 years, of holistic education and academic excellence. The pupils of Marlborough College Malaysia will carry the torch for a new era of education. They will embody the spirit of internationalism and emerge as the beneficiaries of cross-cultural exchanges, an international perspective and preparation for life in a global environment.

Marlborough College was founded for the sons of the clergy of the Church of England in 1843, just after Queen Victoria came to the throne. At Marlborough College Malaysia. we do not aim to promote a purely Anglican point of view but rather we aim to set a moral compass for the children and we cherish and celebrate our multi-faith community.

Whilst maximising academic potential is an essential requirement of any school. the co-curricular aspect is a vital part of developing an all-round person. The spacious 90-acre campus with the outstanding facilities allows for excellent opportunities in sporting and outdoor pursuits. We also place high value in the contribution of music, art, drama and service to others in the holistic education that we deliver to the pupils in our care.

Our tailor-made Preparatory School curriculum prepares pupils in a rigorous manner for the Senior School. Parents may be interested to note UCAS (the UK’s university application system) has regarded IB and A Levels in terms of value and the new system gives more weight to the IB. This move follows other systems which highly value the IB such as Canada, Australia and many US colleges as well.

School education is amazing , facilities is great and staff around is good, but there are many expensive items and valuables stolen in boarding house and in changing rooms, students lost over thousands in cash , MacBooks ,hand phones gone missing and has never been recovered. Would definitely recommend but wouldn’t suggest to bring valuables there

It is great when it works, would've rated higher but the developers seem to update the customer's terms and conditions quite often without notice and I've seen on many occasions customers punished due to this. I will rate 5 stars when the developers release an update that forces customers to agree to new terms and conditions before they are applied. I've been using it for 2 years now and have to say although the updates are usually good, they take a while to release. There at least hasn't been many constructive updates over my tenure. This review would've been 2 stars if it wasn't for the extra in app purchase I made, I would highly recommend "Steel House" to improve the experience.

The campus and facilities are top-notch no doubt about that. But the staff can be quite rude, especially to local Malaysians. And the price is a bit hefty for some people.
