Mont Kiara International School is kinda Good. At least Better than my old school Havil International School in Brickfields, KL. When it comes to staff management, facilities, co-curricular activities, and quality of teaching, Mont Kiara is much more better than Havil International School in terms of that. I won't recommend Havil International School.

Mont' Kiara International School is a relatively small, but very good school. The teachers at this school are almost always open to giving extra help whenever they can. It is a very challenging school for many students, but it is challenging in a good way. This is because students are faced with the ESLRs or expected school wide learning results that encourage them to go beyond their limitations. The curriculum is also designed to make the students excellent global citizens.

My children attended MKIS for four years and we could not have been happier with our experience. The IB education is top notch, and the quality of the staff is such that they were able to accommodate the very different learning styles of my children. The school is a great size and small enough that the student to teacher ratio is low. The faclitites are top notch, and not a year went by when there wasn't a major facilties improvement project completed- the campus just kept getting better. What stands out most though is the community. MKIS is located in the heart of the Mont Kiara suburb of KL. Children can walk to school, playdates and snack shops. It is completely unique and fosters a family dynamic at the school that feels welcoming and safe. As far as International Schools go- this is our third- it is unlike anything we have encountered anywhere else! I cannot reccomend it highly enough.

M’KIS is amazing. This has been our 4 kids’ (11, 9, 5 and 3 yr old) first year at M’KIS (after moving for the 3rd time 3 continents in 3 yrs) and we (and our kids) couldn’t be happier.
