About

About

Sri Tenby Private School Johor

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens; a unique campus hosting both British International and Malaysian National Private Schools, whose reputation of excellence in education, high quality learning and wider student experience places it as the school of choice in the Johor area.

The campus was built in 2013 and is fully integrated between the two schools. The International School follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), UK National Curriculum and the Malaysian National Private School, Sri Sekolah Tenby, (SST) follows the Malaysian National Curriculum from Form 1 culminating in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations in Form 5.

This gives parents a choice of curriculum when joining one of the largest groups of private international schools in South-East Asia, with six campuses throughout Malaysia. In January 2018, Tenby Schools joined with the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a UK-based, rapidly-expanding British group of schools operating in a growing number of countries around the world.

Our emphasis is on the holistic development of global citizens who have the skills and confidence to compete in a modern 21st century society. Our approach aims to balance strong academic and pastoral expectations that help students develop an international mindset. Students of all ages are also constantly encouraged to develop many other skills and attributes, such as empathy for others and a reflective, independent approach to life and learning. This is reflected in our student Learner Profile, as well as our definitions of high quality learning and international mindedness.

The staff consist of a mixture of highly qualified and competent Malaysian and international teachers, providing students a range of national and global perspectives. We take great pride in the way lessons are taught; teachers are focused on our students and their learning, while students are encouraged to be critical learners and to be actively involved in their own learning. All staff constantly seek to ensure that we are also engaged in continuous professional development to remain up-to-date with the best practices in teaching and learning, whatever our backgrounds.

Overall Satisfaction :

Teaching Quality :

Tenby Schools SEP has been an amazing experience, not just for our two sons, but also for us as parents. Our boys are always motivated by their teachers to grow to their full potential, developing social skills, self-confidence & independence. We truly appreciate how the teachers impart good moral values and cultivate a growth mindset which is perfectly aligned to our parent philosophy. We couldn’t be happier to be part of the Tenby community
