About

About

St. Christopher International Primary School

St Christopher’s International Primary School (SCIPS) was established in 1963, to deliver a broad, balanced British-based curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of our diverse community.

Hosting families of over 32 different nationalities, St Christopher’s provides primary focused international education in a caring and nurturing environment. Even with an enrolment of 580+ children, the school still maintains the atmosphere of a “small” International School, where a strong family-feeling exists.

St. Christopher’s is a non-denominational, not-for-profit making school and we are very proud of both our history and achievements. We recognise that our greatest strength has always been the quality of our relationships with families and the dedication of the teaching staff.

From what we have observed, they treat teachers badly and that must be effecting to the overall quality of the education they provide to the children of their customers as well. To fix the problem, the management might have to be changed. The atmosphere is not open, encouraging and honest. We can not really recommend them, especially to any teachers looking forward to work overseas.

The teachers at SCIPS have abused my kid mentally and emotionally. Neil Bowker threatened my child on multiple occasions and silenced him to make sure no one was aware. Kerry Wilkinson spent my child’s lunch time to redo homework leaving him to starve. Please don’t send your kids here, I truly wish I didn’t. Alexandra Backhouse publicly embarrassed my child, endorsed bullies, and threw a book at another student.

Interested to read that 'most of the teachers there were American.'I worked as a teacher there from 1971 to 1973. The teachers were a truly international group, but none was American. They were, however, a friendly and dedicated team.

Great school overall. Spent my primary life in this school and had a great time learning. I'm currently studying in UPLANDS and have no trouble as SCIPS has prepared me for Secondary School. 10/10 recommend to come here especially if you're planning to send your children to secondary schools like UPLANDS, POWIIS, DALAT or Tenby. This school is actually not a bad school. I saw some comments complaining about the school like saying "my teacher made my kid do his homework during lunch, making him starve", well I think that it is your kid's responsibility to finish his homework at home with his best effort. I know that the school fees is expensive, so you should use this school to it's best potential!
