UPLANDS has a lack of ommunication between parents and teachers /staff. Parents always feel lost in their kids educational path. When you have an issue with your kids education, it is like hitting a wall of bricks, as some of the teachers and staff are not willing to listen and/or help, or they have no clue on how to help. The average teachers/staff attitude is arrogant and they treat the parents as they are another student, not an adult. It is hard, if not impossible, to get a straight answer. Not a good school.

Not a welcoming and conducive place for holistic international education - many teachers are simply not interested in your child's progress and were often downright rude and demeaning to Asian parents. Students relations can be very hierarchical and arrogant with bullying, discrimination and unhealthy practices being an open secret. My child and I were happy to have left after one very frustrating year.
